What started as a tiny corner counter in Shoreditch has grown into a cherished neighbourhood ritual. We've spent over a decade obsessing over extraction temperatures, sourcing relationships with farmers in Ethiopia and Colombia, and perfecting the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

Common questions

Do I need a reservation to visit?
Walk-ins are always welcome — we love spontaneous visits. However, for groups of four or more, or if you'd like a specific window seat or private nook, we strongly recommend booking ahead, especially on weekends. Tables can be reserved up to 30 days in advance.
Where do you source your coffee beans?
All our espresso beans are single-origin, sourced directly from smallholder farms in Ethiopia (Yirgacheffe region), Colombia (Huila), and Guatemala (Antigua). We visit our farming partners annually and pay above Fair Trade minimums. Seasonal filter options change every 8–10 weeks.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely. We offer oat, almond, soy, and coconut milk alternatives at no extra charge. Our kitchen accommodates gluten-free, vegan, and nut-free requirements — items are clearly labelled on the menu and our staff are trained to assist with any allergen queries.
Can I work from Mira during the day?
Yes — we have fast, reliable Wi-Fi and plenty of power outlets at our counter and window seats. We simply ask that during peak morning and lunch hours (8–10am and 12–2pm) laptop users kindly keep to a two-hour stay to allow walk-ins. Off-peak hours are yours to use freely.
Can I buy your beans or equipment to take home?
We sell our full lineup of rotating single-origin beans in 250g bags at the counter, freshly roasted in-house on Tuesdays and Fridays. We also stock a curated selection of brewing equipment — pour-over kits, AeroPresses, and hand grinders. Ask any barista for a guided recommendation.
